Ambassador

Philip Sidebottom has been a long-term supporter and Ambassador of the Think Pink Foundation, having first become involved after attending the Masquerade Ball in 2006.

Over the years, Philip has played an important role in helping Think Pink grow its practical support for people affected by breast cancer. Through his former role at Mirvac, Philip was instrumental in helping secure the previous Living Centre premises at 390 St Kilda Road, Melbourne, and in facilitating the pro-bono fit-out of the Living Centre and its on-site accommodation apartment.

In 2011, Philip and his wife Dianne also founded Greenhearts Recyclers, a not-for-profit initiative that arranged the recycling and re-use of office furniture and materials. Think Pink was one of Greenhearts’ nominated charitable beneficiaries, with the initiative helping generate significant support for the Foundation.

Today, Philip continues to support Think Pink through his personal presentation, community and corporate connections as a way to raise awareness and support for breast cancer patients and their families.

Philip’s ongoing commitment reflects the next stage of Think Pink’s mission: expanding access to free, practical and emotional support for people affected by breast cancer across Australia.

Each year, more than 20,000 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer. The need for support does not stop at diagnosis or treatment. Patients and families also need care, guidance, connection and practical help as they move through treatment, recovery and survivorship.

Since inception, Think Pink has supported more than 5,500 women nationwide through its practical services and support. As demand continues to grow, Think Pink is working to expand its reach, strengthen its Breast Care Nurse capacity, and ensure more people can access free support when they need it most.

Philip remains proud to stand beside Think Pink as an Ambassador and advocate for its work.
