Second Hope Support Group at the Royal Botanic Gardens – 16 October

An informal support group which offers understanding and education to women of all ages and stages of metastatic breast cancer.

After such an enjoyable time last year we have decided to do another trip to the Royal Botanic Gardens in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

We will make our way to The Terrace Café for lunch, taking the scenic route via shuttle bus if preferred.

If you are keen to join us you can choose from the following options:

1. Meet at the Living Centre at 11.30 and walk across to the gardens, meeting at Gate F. (The walk takes around 15 to 20 minutes and there is one steep incline up to the Shrine.)
2. Meet at the Living Centre at 11.30 and be driven to Gate F pick up point.
3. Make your own way to Gate F and meet the group there. (There is plenty of parking close to the gate.)

All levels of mobility and fitness are catered for so don’t worry if you don’t think you are not up to the walk. A shuttle buggy has been organised and will take us to and from The Terrace Café  (with a bit of a scenic tour along the way!)

We anticipate returning to The Living Centre around 2pm.

New Clients welcome.
