About Monique Poppelaars

Monique graduated from the Australian School of Reflexology and Relaxation in 2005 and has been working as a professional reflexologist ever since. She has a special interest in women’s health particularly in how emotions and day to day stress can influence women’s lives. Monique loves to talk about the importance of daily self care and she is passionate about educating women and teaching them many practical tips on how to implement these routines.

Chronic stress has been identified as a contributing factor in many diseases of the immune system and is also implicated in the development of depression and other serious mental health issues. Monique believes Reflexology is the perfect antidote to stress and anxiety as it promotes balance in the physical, mental, emotional and energetic levels of the human body.

Monique offers Reflexology sessions on the face and feet / hands and uses beautiful essential oils to enhance the treatment. She works from her home based clinic in Parkdale. Monique is originally from The Netherlands and has lived in Australia for over 19 years. She is married and has 2 daughters aged 18 and 14 years old.
