Our pop up session for the Month of May will be presented by Dr Janice Yeh and will be of interest to many.
The title of the presentation is “Radiation Therapy in Metastatic Breast Cancer”. Janice will look at what is new in the management of metastatic breast cancer and an overview of the latest evidence and research to support this. She will also answer some of the commonly asked questions about radiotherapy in general. Feel free to submit any questions you may have beforehand or there will be an opportunity on the day to ask Janice.
Janice is a Radiation Oncology Fellow working at the Olivia Newton John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre, Austin Hospital, with a special interest in breast cancer management and research, playing an integral role in the breast cancer multi-disciplinary team since 2020. Janice is also a Masters candidate with Monash University, undergoing research projects looking into improving accuracy and consistency in the delivery of radiation therapy following lumpectomy surgery for breast cancer. Since starting her training in 2014, Janice has had experience working in multiple Radiation Oncology centres in Victoria, South Australia, Northern Territory, and Tasmania.
