Guest Speaker Christine Lee – Acupuncture and Breast Cancer – LIVE at TLC 11 October

  • Education session via Zoom with Christine Lee on Acupuncture
     11/10/2023
     2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

This week LIVE at the Living Centre, we will be joined by guest speaker Christine Lee, discussing the use of Acupuncture throughout Breast Cancer.

Acupuncture to Support Breast Cancer treatment

Acupuncture is an increasingly common therapy, used for a wide range of health conditions. However, for those that don’t know it, it can seem rather mysterious and risky. It is one of the few drug-free health services that evidence has shown can be useful to support cancer treatment, in the alleviation of cancer symptoms and treatment side-effects.

In this session, Christine will briefly introduce the history and principles of acupuncture. She will outline what to expect from treatment. And also discuss the evidence supporting acupuncture for breast cancer support – this includes for fatigue, pain, sleep issues, digestive issues, mental health, peripheral neuropathy and temperature regulation.
