Group Art Therapy with Carmen Milic

Through relaxation, art and meditation, you can explore issues and ways to cope and re-discover what makes your life enjoyable and meaningful for you. This group art therapy focuses on and nurtures the whole self and inspires ways to relax and create balance in your day.

Art Therapist Carmen Milic will be facilitating this art therapy session. She is passionate about furthering the creative arts and health movement in Australia. Her experience as a clinician includes working with trauma, severe & acute mental health issues and cancer care in both group and individual contexts. Her therapeutic practice is grounded in a person centered, trauma informed approach with a focus on resilience, recovery & post traumatic growth.  Carmen is also an artist. Her creative practice is underpinned by a curiosity that explores the interplay between the arts and human flourishing; and how engaging with the creative process can reveal that which may not necessarily be seen or experienced through words alone.
